Tom’s passion for taking care of others in a time of need has been the focus throughout his more than 30 years in the funeral service. His desire to capture the essence of a life and create the final memories brings true meaning to the people he serves.
Larry’s experience and his tenderness have endeared him to many families over the past twenty plus years as a funeral director. He enjoys helping families celebrate the life of their loved one, so saying good bye is truly a memorable experience.
Shawn Harrington, a native of Wing, ND graduated from Wing
High School in 2002.Following high
school he attended Bismarck State College and began working at a local funeral
home.In the summer of 2004 he and his
wife moved to Gresham, OR where he attended Mt. Hood Community College and
graduated in 2005 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Funeral
Service.They moved back to Bismarck
where he served his apprenticeship and has been a licensed Funeral Director
since July of 2006.Shawn is also a
certified crematory operator from the Cremation Society of North America.He joined the Weigel team in September of
2017.Shawn’s goal is to provide sensitive
and caring assistance during life’s most difficult times and to help create
meaningful celebrations that honor your loved one.In his spare time Shawn enjoys golfing,
softball, focusing on health and wellness, spending time with family, and helping
out with his kid’s activities.Shawn’s
family includes his wife, Alison, and their children; Megan, Dawson, and
Office Manager/Grief-Care Coordinator
Alison Harrington grew up on the Marquardt family farm near
Pettibone, ND. Soon after graduating
from University of Mary she married her high school sweetheart, Shawn
Harrington. They started their married
life at Weigel Funeral home prior to moving to Gresham, OR for Shawn to
complete his mortuary science degree. They
established residency in Bismarck where Alison made her career working as a
Registered Respiratory Therapist. Alison
has always been inspired to help and serve others. A dream of Shawn and Alison’s has been to
work side by side, making a difference in others’ lives. They were able to make that dream come true
in 2017 when they both joined the Weigel team.
Being a funeral directors wife and having lost her father,
Alison understands how important it is to have sensitive, caring people care
for your loved one. She wants to help
others through the grieving process by being a positive, supportive friend you
can count on through the most difficult time in one’s life.
She and Shawn also realize just how important health is and
are passionate about helping others meet their health and wellness goals in
their spare time as well as traveling, spending time with family and keeping up
with their active kids.
