Sheryn A. (Eggert) Doll, 72, Mandan, passed away May 28, 2017 at St. Gabriel's Community in Bismarck.
Services will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:30-7:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Sheryn was born on July 19, 1944 to William Eggert and Mary Burgess in Pueblo, CO. She was raised and educated in Hebron, attending Hebron High School. She married Vernon Doll in 1968 and they began their lives together in Mandan, ND. Sheryn and Vernon had 2 sons, Terence and Shannon, who were the pride and joy of their lives. Sheryn worked at local hospitals, Heartview and local clothing stores. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling the country and visiting family and friends. Sheryn showed a strength that made her family proud when she was diagnosed with MS in the early 1990's. Vernon was her primary caregiver after his retirement and built a handicapped accessible home for them. Vernon and Sheryn were married for 48 years before Vernon's death in 2016.
Sheryn will be deeply missed by her sons, Terence (Kate), Blair, NE and Shannon, Mandan, ND and 3 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Brandon and Jordan.
Sheryn was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary and her husband, Vernon.
