Sheila Ehli was born April 14, 1958 to Frank and Eva (Gerhardt) Ehli in Bismarck. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating with an Associate’s Degree from Bismarck State College. On April 17, 1976 Sheila married Edward (Ed) Tibke in Mandan. She worked for the University Systems of North Dakota for 23 years as an Administrative Secretary and Financial Aid Assistant. She took pride in her job and loved talking to the students.

Sheila lived life with a positive attitude, enormous strength and courage and always remained humble. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She spent many weekends camping with her family and friends. Known for her hospitality, everyone always felt welcome in her home. Sheila always put others first, herself second. She was an open and loving person. Hugs were always abundant in her presence. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Our mom still is and will always be AWESOME!

Sheila will be deeply missed by her husband, Ed, New Salem; son, Eliot (Keri) Tibke, Mandan; daughter, Amanda (Shaun) Ahlgren, Bismarck; and grandchildren, John and Colby Tibke, and Abigail and Lexi Ahlgren; sister and lifelong friend, Patty (Alvin) Belverstone, Bismarck; brothers, Francis (Jeanette) Ehli and Chuck Ehli, both of Bismarck; Phil (Joy) Ehli, Minot and Jerry (Sheila) Ehli, Gillette, WY; step-sister, Jeanine Shea and step-brother, Kelly Swanson.
