Sharon Young Wolf “Hish-shua Idatsh”, 61, New Town, left this Earth on July 25, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Johnny Bird Memorial Center, New Town, ND with Rev. Cary Enno officiating. Burial will be at held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND, with Military Honors provided by the Myron B Johnson-Nathan Good Iron Post #271. A wake will be held Friday, July 29, 2017 starting at 4:00 pm at the Johnny Bird Memorial Center, New Town, ND.

Sharon was born on November 25, 1955 to Frank Young Wolf and Naomi Foolish Bear. Sharon was a member of the Prairie Chicken Clan and child of the Low Cap Clan. She was raised, educated, and lived most of her life in the New Town area. At the age of 26, Sharon enlisted in the United States Army and served her country with honor. She traveled to many countries in her three years of service, her favorite being Germany.

Sharon worked for Indian Health Services for many years locally, as well as in Montana and South Dakota. Her most recent career was as a land agent for various oil companies. She enjoyed picking up friends and family for company while cruising the rez getting signatures.

Most of her free time was spent with her grandchildren, visiting her family and many friends, or hanging out at the casino. She loved traveling to warm places, Las Vegas, Arizona, and New Mexico, in particular.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her daughters, Kylene Fitzsimmons, Mandan, ND and Carlyn Fitzsimmons, New Town, ND; grandchildren, Cedar and Oakley (Carlyn), and sister, Lyda Foote, Mandan, ND.

She will be welcomed into Heaven by many family and friends.
