Sharon Lynn Harding, 87, went to heaven on the morning of August 13, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 18, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Mandan. Burial will follow in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. A reception will be at the Mandan Moose Club.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M., Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Weigel Funeral Home with a vigil / prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Sharon was born on July 17, 1938, to Frank and Ella (Bieber) Lantz in Mandan, North Dakota. She grew up in Mandan and was always very close with her two brothers, Frank and Wayne. She graduated from Mandan High School and went to college at Bismarck Junior College where she earned her degree.

She married Wallace "Wally" Harding on December 27, 1961. She was the laboratory supervisor at Quain and Ramstad Clinic in Bismarck. Sharon and Wally had 4 children, John, Judi, Tana, and Janell. Following the birth of her children, she stayed at home and became an expert at juggling hectic schedules. She was always on the go supporting her children in their various endeavors. She loved spending time attending all the events her kids were involved in and was their biggest fan.

When she did find time, she would immerse herself in crocheting and counter-cross stitching, creating stunning pieces that her children will cherish forever. Her kitchen was also the neighborhood gathering point for morning coffee, which she loved. Summer weekends were spent with family and friends at their cabin on Lake Audubon.

Once her children had grown up, she went back to work at United Blood Services in Bismarck, working as a Lab Tech. Later in life, there was nothing that put a smile on her face like seeing her grandchildren. She was so proud of every one of them, and she had a way of making all of them feel special and loved. She may have even spoiled them a time or two or every chance she got.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; daughter, Judi Eftenoff; parents: Frank and Ella and brothers: Frank Lantz and Wayne Lantz.

She is survived by her son, John Harding, his wife Marva, and their children: Rachel and Devin; her daughter, Tana Noteboom, her husband Kurt, and their children: Ben and Abby; and her daughter, Janell Batiste, her husband Michael, and their children: Katelyn, Cameron, and Carter; granddaughter, Rikki Eftenoff and her son Grayson; and grandson, Nick Eftenoff.

We take comfort knowing she is in heaven. May her memory put a smile on our faces for we were all blessed to have had her in our lives.
