Rosemary Krueger was born in Richardton to William and Mary (Kovarik) Krueger on September 14, 1935. She was raised and educated in Mandan graduating from Mandan High School in 1953. On July 15, 1955 Rosemary married the love of her life, Richard (Rick) Jacobchick at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan. Together they raised their family in Mandan. Their love for each other continued to grow through the years.

Music was a big part of Rosemary’s life. She sang in the high school choir, the St. Joseph Choir with her mom, and the Christ the King Choir. One of the high points was the 35 years she sang with the Bismarck/Mandan Sweet Adeline’s. The most important thing in Rosemary’s life was her family. Her proudest accomplishment was her marriage to Rick and their family. Rosemary had a group of friends that called themselves “The Grannies”, which included her lifelong friend, Irene. She also enjoyed bowling, doing cross stitch and camping with her family. Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper for her husband in a service station business as well as Speedy’s Tire Service. She was a vibrant wife, mother and grandmother whose wonderful personality, her laughter and her joy for life will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left with wonderful memories of her and a life well lived are her husband, Rick, Mandan; daughter, Pam (Dave) Helbling, Fargo; sons, Steve (Erna), Mandan, Jeff (Shirley), Bismarck; grandchildren, Amy Beard, Jesse Siegel, Jason Siegel, Amanda Jacobchick, Josh Jacobchick, Lacey Jacobchick, Kristin Jacobchick; four step-grandchildren, Casey Helbling, Nathan Helbling, Kelly Benzinger, Dustin Helbling; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Koral, Ethan, Joey and Miah, Tanner; step great-grandchildren, Carson, Max, Emerson, Samuel, Skylar, Teagan and Brody; sister, Karen (Greg) Smith, Salt Lake City, UT; brothers, Ron (Geri) Krueger, Spokane, WA and Norm (Gen) Krueger, Mandan.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents.

The family requests memorial to the Bismarck/Mandan Elks Camp Grassick, the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery or to Christ the King School.
