Ralph was born on December 26, 1925 in Kingsford, Saskatchewan, Canada to Aloysius and Pauline (Resler) Miiller. He grew up with 3 brothers and 7 sisters on the family farm near Torquay. All 4 sons followed in their father's footsteps by becoming mechanics; learning the ropes at Miiller Motors, the family garage in Torquay, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Ralph farmed in his early years before moving to Mandan, ND in January of 1959 with 1 daughter and 2 sons in tow to work for Remund Ford. In November 1967, he accepted a mechanic position at Larson Motor Company in Sidney, MT. By this time the family had grown to 1 daughter and 5 sons. In 1977 he returned to Mandan to work for Norby Rath and continued to fix cars and pickups until he retired in 1993. He wasn't one to be idle, so he put on a lot of miles for Eide Ford, transporting vehicles between Ford Dealerships.

Ralph especially enjoyed gardening every summer, and his children spent many hours with him picking chokecherries. He was truly a jack of all trades; painter, plumber, electrician, sheet rocker, and shingler. He did all of them and did them all well. It was said that if he couldn't fix something, it needed to be hauled to the landfill because no one could fix it. Ralph enjoyed watching Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and polka dancing. He was passionate about the Minnesota Twins and did his best to watch every game on TV. Ralph also loved playing board games and cards and enjoyed teaching the kids and grandkids how to play. He did whatever it took to win and was known for making up his own rules.

Ralph will be deeply missed by his daughter, Cathy Christensen, Broken Arrow, OK; sons, Dan (Sheri), Billings, MT, Ken (Lori), Glendive, MT, Bert (Diane), Williston, ND, Henry, Mandan, ND and Ardeen (Danielle), Mandan, ND; 8 grandchildren, Brendon Christensen, Brian Muller, Brady Muller, Daine Muller, Bryce Muller, Cole Muller, Kyleigh Muller and Andren Muller; 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah Christensen and Brooklynn Muller; very special friend, Josie Ressler, Mandan, ND; sisters, Rose Ehrmantraut, Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, Barbara (Arnie) Zimmerman, Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, Mary (Emile) Marcotte, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada , Agnes (Clem) Marcotte, Torquay, Saskatchewan, Canada, Eileen Schuster, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and brother, Leonard (Lois) Miiller, Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Pauline; granddaughter, Brianna Muller; sisters, Pauline Ereth and Margaret St. Onge; brothers, John Miller, Peter Miiller and Ronald Miiller.
