Nancy Burchill

Nancy Jo (Lambrecht) Burchill, 57, was born on September 28, 1960 in Williston, ND. She passed away on April 26, 2018, due to complications from breast cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 am on Friday, May 11, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Shane Campbell as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery following the service.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary and Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.

She was raised in Tioga, ND and was the oldest child out of 4. She attended Tioga High School and went on to graduate from college at Valley City State University. There she met and married Tim Burchill. They had 2 children together, Ryan and Michael Burchill. After Nancy and Tim divorced in the late 90’s, Nancy moved back to Tioga to be closer to her mother.

Nancy was a very active member at the Church of St. Thomas, in Tioga, and she helped with many fundraising projects. She loved getting together with her family, playing all sorts of games, spending time with her nieces and nephew, reading, and cross stitching. Nancy had a very close relationship with her daughter in law, Jayme. Nancy was happiest when she was with her children, but most of all with her grandchildren, Izaac and Charlotte. She also loved spending time with her “adopted” grandchildren, Journey, Brayden, Emmett, and Owen. Nancy was very loving and kind, and she loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons: Ryan Burchill, his wife Jayme, and their son Izaac, Williston ND, and  Michael Burchill and his daughter Charlotte, Spearfish, SD, her three siblings, Daren (Lorena) Lambrecht, Tioga ND, Brett Lambrecht, Omaha NE, and Stacy (Doug) French, Malta MT, her nieces; Krista and Kelsey Lambrecht, Bismarck ND, and her nephew Jacob French, Malta MT.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Darrel and Yvonne Lambrecht.
