Marty Gross

Marty Gross, 54, of Mandan, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at his home in Mandan. Private family services will be held.

Marty was born October 21, 1971, in Mandan, the son of Ronald and Marie (Barth) Gross. He attended Mandan Public Schools and graduated from Mandan High School in 1990. Following graduation, he attended school for power plant training. Marty worked as a roofer until becoming disabled.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting in the Linton area and fishing at Sugar Loaf Bottoms.

Marty is survived by his sons, Arron Gross and Noah Gross, both of Mandan; his mother, Marie Gross (Tim Wolf) of Arizona; his sister, Misty (BJ) Ragatz of Wisconsin; his nieces, Brittney (Tyler) Hobart and Brenna Ragatz; his nephew, Ronnie Ragatz; one great-niece and one great-nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; his maternal grandparents, Leo and Veronica Barth; and his paternal grandparents, John and Katherine Gross.
