Lorraine J. Ressler

Lorraine J. (Riedemann) Ressler, 87, of Mandan, ND passed away October 16, 2025 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, October 28th at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mandan. A light reception will be held immediately following the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Lorraine was born April 27, 1938 in rural Oliver County, ND to Albert & Esther (Uhl) Riedemann. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1958 and then attended Mary College (UMary). She married Emanuel G. Ressler and they made their home in Mandan. Lorraine worked as a Medical Technologist at a hospital in Bismarck for many years. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

She is survived by two daughters, Jodene (Mark) Miller of Mandan, & Leslie Romero Ramirez of South Jordan, UT; & one grandchild, Mason Romero Ramirez.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Emanuel), & one brother (Kenneth Riedemann).
