LeRoy Balstad

LeRoy Balstad, age 67, of Mandan died on March 7 ^th in the company of his beloved wife, Pat.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Florence, of Crookston, MN his in-laws, Sebastian and Maggie Morrell and his sister, Fern Walker.  He is survived by his greatest partner in life, his wife of 47 years, Pat, son, Dean (Stacy) and daughter, Tina (Richard) Graner and grandchildren, Caleb, Sydney and Luke Balstad, Madaline, Sophia, Lillian, Phillip, Charles and Henry Graner.

He was a devoted father, avid fisherman, gifted machinist, carpenter, inventor and patent holder.  His family and friends will never forget his generosity, compassion, intelligence and integrity.  LeRoy will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 13 at Church of St. Joseph.  A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, March 12 ^th from 4-8pm at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan and will continue one hour prior to the service, Tuesday.
