Kenneth Holbrook

Kenneth "Ken" Holbrook, 78, of Mandan, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Ken will be inurned at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, where his service to his country will be honored.

Ken was born the son of Jacob and Frankie (Deitz) Holbrook on July 20, 1947, in Franklin, North Carolina, where he was raised and educated. After high school, he entered the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country until his retirement. He later continued his service with the National Guard, retiring in North Dakota in 1994.

Ken married Roberta Ellison, and together they raised two sons, Shannon and Brian.

After his military career, Ken worked as a delivery truck driver for Sweetheart Bakery.

Ken is survived by his wife, Roberta Holbrook; his sons, Shannon Holbrook and Brian Holbrook, all of Mandan; his sister, Linda Holbrook Davis; and his nephew, Nick Davis, of Anderson, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
