Keith Meeves, son of Roland and Laurene Meeves was born on June 4, 1963 in Carroll, Iowa.

In his early years Keith made many memories working with Schoeppner shows, owning some of his own rides and a food wagon.  He made a lot of special friends along the way, including Phil and Pam Schoeppner and Allen and Shelly Schoeppner.

Keith met Melanie in 1997, after a few years of friendship, they decided to start a life together.  Thus, the year of 2000, was Keith’s final year with the Schoeppner shows.  Keith and Melanie resided in Mandan and together had a daughter, Madison in 2002.

Keith began working for Northern Improvement in 2002 and continued until the time of his death.  He enjoyed his time working for Northern and was proud to be a Northern employee.

Keith was a member of the Local 49ers and the Mandan Moose Club.

He looked forward to annual fishing trips with his brothers and Uncle Ronnie in Virginia Beach, VA.  He also looked forward to fishing the annual ND Governors Cup with is brother-in-law, Ray.  He enjoyed riding motorcycle, camping, making ribs and kabobs for his family, friends, and anyone else willing to come to the shop for a cold beer and a round of cribbage.

Keith’s greatest joy was his daughter, Madison. He was always proud of his little “pumpkin” and always loved to attend her sporting and academic activities.

Keith was known for helping anyone fix anything.  His grandchildren always said, “Grandpa can fix everything!” and he would always say, “if I can’t fix it, then it ain’t broke” followed by his usual grin and chuckle.  His talents were numerous.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Laurene, Iowa; wife, Melanie; daughter, Madison; stepdaughter, Kayla Elter; grandchildren, Riley, Kylie, Karlie, and Nehemiah; and his special dog, Teddy Bear, all of Mandan.  His mother and father-in-law, Ray and Marlene Pulkrabek, Mandan; siblings, Bruce (Patty) Meeves, Louisiana, Rhonda (John) Sandison, Massachusetts, Ed Meeves, Iowa, Steve (Anita) Meeves, Texas; brother-in-law, Ray Pulkrabek, Jr., Utah; sisters-in-law, Malinda (Steve) Schneider and Malissa (Joe Morman) Pulkrabek, both of Mandan. Multiple nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
