Jennifer Rooker

Jennifer Rooker, 40, of Mandan, passed away June 30, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND.  Burial will be at held at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm.

Jennifer was born on November 3, 1977 to Patrick and Diane (Falk) O’Toole in Bismarck, ND.  She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School in 1996; she then attended college in Bismarck and Fargo, graduating from NDSU in Fargo as a Veterinary Technician.  After returning to Bismarck she pursued her dream of caring for the animals she loved dearly.  Then later, she was employed at Northern Plains Laboratory at Mid Dakota Clinic.

In June of 2005, after being inseparable since junior high school, she was married to Terry Rooker, and they made their home in Mandan.  In November of 2006, they were blessed with their son, Logan.  She was an amazing wife and mother; she cherished her family and spent many moments making great family memories to last a lifetime.

Jennifer will be deeply missed by her husband, Terry; son, Logan; father, Patrick (Mary) O’Toole of Mandan; mother, Diane (Dave) Schultz of Bismarck; sister, JoAnn Hojian of Bismarck; mother-in-law, Alice Thompson of Bismarck; father-in-law, Bennie Thompson of Mandan; brother-in-law, Barry Rooker and fiancée, Jaunita of Mandan; stepsisters; one stepbrother; niece, Stephanie (Tyler) and her children, Courtney and Aiden; nephews, Eric, Aaron, and Jason; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and Aunt Monica.
