Jason E. Nelson, 49, Mandan, ND, died of cancer November 15, 2013.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Rev. Christina Martin officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Jason was born on September 25, 1964 to Lloyd and Delila (Rauchwater) Nelson in Mandan. ND. He graduated from Mandan High School in 1982. Jason loved spending time with his daughter, Nicole and the rest of his family.
He was dedicated to his position as internet sales manager in Phoenix, AZ, and more recently in Denver, CO. Jason was full of adventure and enjoyed many hobbies, such as hiking, motor cycling, photography, fishing and scuba diving.
Jason will be deeply missed by his daughter, Nicole Nelson, Bismarck, ND; fiancée, Tammy Meier, Lincoln, ND; mother, Delila Nelson, Mandan, ND; brothers, Jess (Diana), Mandan, ND and Jim (Julie), Bismarck, ND; nephews, Brad and Corey; niece, Jazmin, Bismarck and Nicole’s mother, Robin Nelson.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Nelson.
