Gregory Siegel

Gregory A. Siegel, 59, of Mandan, passed away April 21, 2019.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND. Burial will take place at a later date in Werner, ND.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND.

On June 15, 1959, Greg was born to George F. and Vera (Force) Siegel in Topeka, Kansas. They moved to Grand Forks where he went to the North Dakota School for the Blind, graduating in 1981.  Moved to Mandan, then to Missoula, MT and back to Mandan.

Greg was currently working for McDonalds in Mandan, and has had several other jobs, including the Missoula School’s printing department.

Greg rode a tandem bike for two with his roommate all over Missoula.  They had the locations of every restaurant memorized so they would not miss out on any good deals.

Greg was an avid sports fan, his favorite team to follow was the Minnesota Twins.  He also enjoyed Special Olympic bowling/bocce and playing cards.  Greg loved to listen to country music.

Greg will be deeply missed by his sister, Roberta (Michael) Tjaden of Mandan, ND; Special Uncle, Marvin Weigum of Zap, ND; Nieces: Sarah (Josh) Pennington and Tanya (Ryan) Gobbs; Great Nieces: Shelby, Kendel, and Rylee Gobbs and Taiya Pennington; Great Nephew: Jack Pennington.  Sister-in-law, Michelle Siegel of Lamoure, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bryan.
