Geraldine Bellon

Geraldine Bellon, 81, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Bismarck with her loved ones by her side.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will open to the public thirty minutes prior to the service at 10:30 AM on Friday.

Geraldine was born on January 14,1945, to Gust and Ida (Zimmerle) Eslinger in Elgin ND and was raised on the family farm, the youngest of five siblings. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1962 and was married to Gerald Bellon on February 17th, 1963. Together they raised two children, Annette and Steven.

Geraldine enjoyed babysitting other kids in her home and following that she was employed at the Mandan Villa nursing home. During their retirement, Geraldine and Gerald enjoyed trips to the casino and Wyoming to visit their grandsons.

Blessed to have shared her life and survived by are her daughter, Annette (Kent) Keller and her son Steven, Bismarck; grandsons, Brian (Jessica) Momerak, Castle Rock, CO and Chris (Kassie) Momerak, Minot; great-grandchildren, Alex (fiancé Emma) Noah, Nick, Ava, Abi, Gemma, Ryan and Gabriel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gust and Ida Eslinger; husband, Gerald; brother, Wilmer Eslinger; and sister, Marlyn Reddman.

Memorials to the ND Veterans Cemetery are preferred.
