Georgette was born on May 29, 1944, in the Bronx, New York. She attended and graduated from Walton High School before becoming a licensed hairdresser and working as a key punch operator. On April 24, 1965, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Vayda, at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in the Bronx, New York. Together, they shared 61 years of marriage filled with love, family, and countless memories.

On December 27, 1972, Georgette and Bob welcomed their first daughter, Valarie Suzann. After the family moved to North Dakota, Georgette welcomed her second daughter, Victoria Lynn, on September 25, 1979. Her daughters became the center of her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising them and creating a loving home for her family.

Later in life, Georgette began volunteering at Mandan Villa, where her natural compassion and love for people led her to become an activity assistant. She took great joy in bringing happiness and companionship to others. After leaving Mandan Villa, she devoted her time to being a homemaker and caring for the people she loved most.

Georgette was a loving, compassionate, and selfless woman who found joy in helping others. She had a heart that always made room for the people around her, and her kindness left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Georgette's greatest legacy will always be her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert "Bob" Vayda; her daughters, Valarie "Val" Wald (Dave) and Victoria "Vicki" Hammond (Danial); and her grandchildren, Christian Wolf (Aliyah) and Alixandra "Ali" Wolf.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and George Otto.

To those who knew and loved her, Georgette was so much more than the roles she held in life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and a source of unwavering love and kindness. Her gentle heart, generous spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Though she has left this world, the love she gave so freely will continue through her family and in the memories, she leaves behind. Her life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, family, compassion, and a life devoted to others.
