Eugene "Gino" Lindstrom

Eugene "Gino" Lindstrom, 37, passed away on August 4, 2023, at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND after a brave battle with cancer.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. No burial as cremation will take place following the service.

Gino was born in Yakima, Washington on February 21, 1986, to Julie Lindstrom and Eugene Whitford. He moved to Mandan, North Dakota in 1996, where he attended and graduated from Mandan High School. He went on to work at the Youth Correctional Center for 9.5 years as a Correctional Officer.

Gino was an outdoorsman and loved fishing, boating, going to the dams, and watching the pelicans.

Gino is survived by his mother, Julie Lindstrom; uncle, Carl Lindstrom; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Whitford; grandfather, Carl Lindstrom; and grandmothers, Jean Lindstrom and Anita Wadell.
