Douglas Leo Beehler

Douglas Leo Beehler, 70, of Mandan, passed away January 2, 2023.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND. Inurnment will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service.

Douglas Leo Beehler was born August 26, 1952, to Rose and Leo Beehler in Bismarck who were residing in Solen, North Dakota, at that time. Doug retired from work at the Mandan Parks and Rec Department in 2017. His dream of traveling to all the National Parks had not been realized at the time of his passing. Doug loved nature and history. He was a carpenter by trade and loved working on projects.

Doug will be deeply missed by his mother, Rose Beehler, Mandan; brother, Jeffrey (Susan) Beehler; nieces, Amy (Ben) Miller and their sons, Lincoln and Sigmund, Casey (Mike) Payne and their son, Hunter, and Chandra (Nathan) Lange; nephews, Chad (Rebecca Schneider) Biegler and Geoffrey Nelson.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Leo; grandparents, Bertha and Henry Hoffman and Phillip and Frances Beehler.
