Diana Pratt

February 27, 1949 — May 19, 2024

Diana Faith Allen-Pratt was born on February 27, 1949, to Earl and Frances Allen. She grew up loving to visit the ocean, dance and worked as an LPN. She was an avid camper and enjoyed boating. Just as her father had taught her, she taught her two daughters, Christine and Rebecca, how to read maps.   Diana spent her life spreading her love of God to others, and recently entered the Catholic faith.

She championed mental health causes, suffering for many years herself with depression. She used poetry and writing to help guide her during those dark moments, along with her faith in Jesus. She spoke often about breaking the stigma associated with mental health issues. When President John F Kennedy was assassinated, she wrote a poem that became part of his memorial.

Diana is survived by her daughter Christine (Chrissy) Lawson and her husband John along with their children James and his fiancee Star and their children, Lawren, Cherish and her husband Devin and their children, Isabella, Ryan and his children, Tabitha, Brandon and his wife Heather and their children, Miley, Jude, Jacob, Heaven and her fiance Nash, Jasmine, Landon, and Tiara.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecca (Becky) Amaral and her husband Antone, as well as their children, Liz and her husband Travis and their children, Larson, and Jasmine and her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her cat Muffy, who was her very best friend for many, many years. We ask that you spread kindness in her name.
