Della Mae McFall

Della M. (Presler) McFall, 71, of Mandan, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Oct 11, 2022 after many years with a traumatic brain injury.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan.  Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday October 13, 2022, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Prayer Service at 7 PM.  Visitation will continue from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. 

Della was born May 14, 1951, in Mandan, to Norbert and Pauline (Schmidt) Presler.  A lifelong Mandan resident, she graduated from Mandan High School in 1969. 

Della was employed at numerous places in the area throughout the years.  Prior to her accident, she worked at Enable Inc. where she was the front office manager, book keeper, transferred clients, and served Meals on Wheels. 

Della was passionate about her family, her pups, baking many desserts, shopping for the best deal, playing bingo, creating crafts galore, playing board games (Uno and Yahtzee were some of her faves), gardening, and traveling.  After the accident in 2008, she spent her time in Mandan at Dakota Alpha and Prospera Care Center where she enjoyed many of their group activities that included painting, live music shows, and the religious classes.  She will be greatly missed. 

Della was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael.  She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Wortman and Jessica (Dennis) Richardson; her four grandchildren, Brenden, Slade, Brady, and Sabella; brothers, Butch and Paul (Kari); sisters, Paulette, Pam (Rodney), and Peggy (Lance); nephews, Justin and Bray; and nieces, Tia and Kirsten; and former husband, Rick McFall.
