Clemintina Doll

Clemintina Doll, 80, Mandan, died May 17, 2014 at Sanford Care Center on Sunset in Mandan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Johnson Kuriappilly as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Clemintina was born on October 29, 1933 to Matt and Katie (Kautzman) Schaff in Flasher, ND. She was raised and educated in Sheilds and Flasher area on the family farm. She married Harold Doll on October 23, 1956 in Shields, ND. They made their home in Mandan where they raised their children and Clem worked at taking care of their home and children and sometimes outside the home at various places when needed. She was first and foremost a wife and mother, taking care of her family and their home was important to her. Clem was a wonderful cook, homemade noodles being one of her specialties. She tended large gardens with Harold and also enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Clem was always a calm and mild mannered person. She made friends easily and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends; she was good story teller and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and staff at the Care Center. She was a member of the United Commercial Travelers Club and volunteered at Christ the King.


Clementine will be deeply missed by daughter, Dolores (Jay) Stolz, Harvey, ND; sons, Harold (Kim) Doll, Jr., Mandan, Jerry (Dawn) Doll, Bismarck and Matt (Deb) Doll, Bismarck; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Clementine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold in 2006; grandson, Thomas James Doll and brother, William Schaff.
