Christopher “Chris” Haag, 42, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025, in Bismarck.
Chris was born January 23, 1983, to William “Bill” and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Tishmack) Haag. He grew up in Bismarck/Mandan. Even though he struggled with health issues all his life, he was talented in his work. He built some amazing things with precision in his finished product. When he was no longer able to work, he would sew stuffed animals for his girls and knitted hats, gloves, blankets, etc. He was a man of no complaints under any circumstance. Chris was a strong, loving, and kind man.
Blessed to have shared in his life are his four beautiful daughters, Zoey, Carlie, Ava, and Audrina, who he loved dearly and they brought joy to each other’s lives. He also leaves his sister, Tonya (James) Berger; brother, Mason Haag (girlfriend, Macy Lorinser); niece and nephew, Sadie and Aiden Berger who he adored and loved. Chris shared his life with his best friend, RaeAnne Sailer, for many years and some furry friends that will also miss him. His grandma, Leona Beckerdite, was a gem in his life. Chris’ mom, Jackie, was always by his side in good times and bad. Chris also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his dad, Bill Haag; grandpa, Richard Beckerdite; and grandparents, Pete & Genevieve Tishmack, who he had the privilege to know and spend time with.
A Celebration of Life to honor Chris will be held at a later date.
