Cheryl Wetzstein

January 31, 1953 — March 11, 2014

Cheryl M. Wetzstein, 61, Beulah formerly of Mandan, died March 11, 2014 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Deacon Jerry Volk presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Weigel Funeral Home.

There will be lunch served at the Moose Club, Mandan N.D. preceding the service. All friends and family are invited to come.

Cheryl was born on January 31, 1953 to George and Ida (Friesz) Wetzstein in Bismarck. She was a very selfless and giving person, all anybody had to do was ask and Cheryl would be the first to ask how she could help. There was never a problem to big that Cheryl could not solve with her persistence and strong willed attitude. Cheryl’s family was the most important thing to her, her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved taking her grandkids camping and fishing and would attend all of their games and events. Cheryl enjoyed doing arts and crafts, spending time with her family and friends and will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her sons, John (Nicole) Kitzman and Christopher (Jeanette) Waller both of Beulah, ND and Scott Bethke of Bismarck, ND; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Carol (Bernie Lee) Berger, Bismarck, ND, Cindy (Martin) Jacobson, Conroe, TX and Connie (Ed) Hass, Montgomery, TX and brother, Clint Wetzstein, Orangeville, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
