Carmie Boehm, 69, of Mandan, passed away August 4, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck, ND, immediately following the service. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Carmie Boehm passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born to Michael and Eleanor Boehm on August 4, 1955. She grew up in Minot, ND, alongside her siblings Ron, Harlan, and Anita. She graduated from Minot High School and Minot State University obtaining a degree as a medical technologist.

Carmie made her home in the Bismarck/Mandan area, where she was a medical technologist for 42 years. She retired in 2020. Carmie was a respected member of the profession and known for her dedication, knowledge, expertise, and hard work ethic in the field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments she was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished her family and was a loyal friend to many. Carmie was fiercely independent and prided herself on being able to “think outside the box.” There was nothing that a little duct tape or a few zip ties couldn’t fix. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching NDSU football, and she found a love for band and symphony concerts; to support those she loved and cared for. Carmie had a passion for cooking and baking. Her love to share these homemade dishes with others was obvious to many.

Carmie was a kind and generous soul who always put others’ needs in front of her own. Her love and compassion will be forever remembered and carried with those who love her.

Carmie is preceded in death by her father, Michael Boehm.

Carmie is survived by her mother, Eleanor Boehm; her brothers, Ron (Deb) Boehm, and Harlan Boehm; her sister, Anita (Bill) Brown; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and her soulmate, Jackie Grantham.
