“Blanca Iris Morales Margolla, 77, passed away peacefully April 16, 2024, at her home in St. Vincent’s, Bismarck, North Dakota. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Blanca was born to Edith Margolla and Jacinto Morales on March 30, 1947 in Utuado Puerto Rico. Blanca was the oldest of 3 children. After her father’s death when she was 7, Blanca became responsible for her 2 younger sisters and her mother.
She was a strong, self-providing mother to 5 children she raised on her own. Blanca will always be remembered for her resilience and strength, her humor and antics, and her caring nature towards others.
She is survived by her children Junior (Luis Oscar), Carmen, Marisol, Ricardo and Elizabeth Rodriguez. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, her aunt, Milagros Margolla and her sister, Lydia Morales.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her youngest sister, Lucyn.
The family would like to issue a special thank you to St. Vincent’s in Bismarck, North Dakota’s staff and personnel for their patience, kindness and love towards Blanca through her time there.”

Blanca nació de Edith Margolla y Jacinto Morales el 30 de marzo de 1947 en Utuado Puerto Rico. Blanca era la mayor de 3 hermanas. Después de la muerte de su padre cuando ella tenía 7 años, Blanca se hizo responsable de sus 2 hermanas menores y de su madre.
Era una madre fuerte y independiente de 5 hijos que crió sola. Blanca siempre será recordada por su resiliencia y fuerza, su humor y sus travesuras, y su naturaleza afectuosa hacia los demás.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Junior (Luis Oscar), Carmen, Marisol, Ricardo y Elizabeth Rodríguez. También le sobreviven sus 11 nietos, su tía Milagros Margolla y su hermana Lydia Morales.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermana menor, Lucyn.
La familia desea agradecer especialmente al personal de St. Vincent's en Bismarck, Dakota del Norte, por su paciencia, amabilidad y amor hacia Blanca durante su tiempo allí".
