Billy Dillmann, 51, Mandan, died tragically from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on July 5, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church in Mandan with Fr. Keith Streifel presiding. Burial will follow at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, July 10, at Weigel Funeral Home in Mandan, with a Moose Ritual at 6 PM followed by a Rosary and Parish Vigil. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.
Billy Joe Dillmann was born June 20, 1974, to Bill and Darlene (Hatzenbuhler) Dillmann. Raised and educated in Mandan, he attended Lewis and Clark Elementary and Mandan High School. In 1996, Billy married Becky Miller and they had two children, Lacey and Levi. On June 26, 2021, he married his soulmate, Christine Rebenitsch and gained another daughter, Faith Geiger. In his younger years, Billy was on the swim team, enjoyed bull riding, bronc riding, team roping, football, and baseball. He also liked playing the drums from time to time as well as hunting, fishing, going over the road and working on his ’71 pickup. Billy was an EMT and volunteer firefighter for a few years. He loved trucking, riding motorcycles with his Glen Ullin Motorcycle Club and horses. He enjoyed doing farm work. Billy was the best story and joke teller and was great at giving people hell. His favorite past employer was TNT and Rud Oil, and he was currently employed with Roger Kirschmann Trucking Inc. Billy seemed to know everyone. A man with the biggest heart of gold who could put a smile on everyone's face. There are so many things we'll miss about Billy, he was the life of the party and loved his people fiercely. His legacy lives on in all those who knew and loved him.
Blessed to have shared in his life is his wife, Christine Dillmann; daughter, Lacey Dillmann (fiancé, Branden Passey), son, Levi Dillmann (girlfriend, Clare Schnaible); and daughter, Faith Geiger; his parents, Bill and Darlene Dillmann; brother, Kelly (Lisa) Dillmann; grandma, Isabell Hatzenbuhler; mother-in-law, Darlene Rebenitsch; brothers-in-law, Lee (Joanne) Rebenitsch and Curt (Chelsea) Rebenitsch; as well as numerous nephews and nieces and countless friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Dillmann, Donna & Dale Gullickson, and Fred Hatzenbuhler; father-in-law, Gerald Rebenitsch; cousin, Lesley Boehm; and Christine's infant son, Kaleb Geiger.
