Ann Leingang

Ann B. Leingang, 92, passed away December 8, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, Bismarck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Josh Waltz as celebrant. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 PM.

Ann Bader Leingang, born May 31, 1928, grew up on a farm in Carson, ND. She was one of 12 children. She later moved to Bismarck and married Louis J Leingang on June 20, 1950. They resided in Mandan where they raised 10 children, Sharon Heinrich of Deer Park WA, Larry (Bernadette), Mandan, Bonnie Horner (Randy), Renton, WA, Patty Adams (Scott), Mandan, Cindy Leingang, Stockton, CA, Colleen Holm, Dickinson, Bryon, New Salem, Lonnie (Tina), Palmer AK, Jason, Mandan.

Ann worked at the Holiday Inn in Bismarck for 18 years, she also enjoyed many years of babysitting for family and friends.  Her hobbies included quilting, cooking, baking, gardening, and crafting.

Ann will be deeply missed by her sisters, Betty Brodehl and Rosie Hochhalter; her children; 32 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donnie; nine siblings; and one grandson.
