Alice was born on April 13, 1938 to Anton and Philipena (Bosch) Hagel in Linton, ND where she was raised and educated. She was united in marriage with Thomas J. Boehm on May 11, 1963 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Bismarck ND.
Alice worked as a Dietary Aide at Christ the King School, Heartveiw Foundation and St. Alexius Hospital.
During her lifetime, Alice enjoyed an active social life with family and many friends. After retirement, she traveled to Branson, MO, San Diego, CA, and she also went on an Alaskan Cruise. Alice was an avid Pinochle card player. She enjoyed embroidery and finished numerous sets of dishtowels which she gave to family and friends.
Alice lived and carried a strong faith her entire life, this faith was instilled in her children. As she faced life’s challenges, her solid faith carried her through without complaint. We will remember what a strong person Alice was and be strengthened by her example.
Alice was very fond of her Primrose family and friends and she enjoyed living there. She also considered the staff at dialysis as family. We would like to thank the CHI St. Alexius Health Kidney Dialysis Unit for the wonderful and compassionate care given to her.
Alice will be deeply missed by her daughters, Karen (Dan) Schelske of Mandan and Korrine (Shannon) Sailer of Hazen; son, Kelly of Bismarck; three grandchildren, Kayla (Jesse) Sjoberg, Tyler (Fiancée, Marissa Lyon) Schelske, and Kaitlyn Schelske; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Lincoln Sjoberg; sisters, Irene (Robert) Berger of Stanton, Donna (Ken) Thiede of Bismarck; brother-in-law, Joe Olzweski of Bismarck; in-laws, Vivian Boehm, Lucille Boehm, Irene Boehm, Frank (Angie) Boehm, Philip (Ceacelia) Boehm, and Julius (Dorothy) Beehler; and many nieces and nephews.
