Albert R. Two Bears, 84, Tunweya gdihunni, passed on June 27, 2026 at Sanford hospital, Bismarck, N.D.
Albert was born on June 7, 1942 to Albert Two Bears Sr. and Laura White Eagle/Two Bears. He resided in Cannon Ball, N.D. all his life. Albert attended Cannon Ball elementary School and attended Fort Yates High School graduating in May 1961. Albert participated in football and excelled in that sport, having received the MVP award in his senior year.
Albert had two children in a marriage to Evelyn Eagle – Don and Donna Two Bears. He later married Sharon McLaughlin April in 1966. To that marriage, they had four children, Karol, Jaci, Allyson and Mona who passed at birth.
Albert became a rancher after high school graduation and continued ranching for 60 years. Albert also enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard after graduation. Upon completing his military service, Albert worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe during construction seasons.
Surviving Albert is his spouse Sharon, daughters; Karol, Jaci, Allyson, and Donna. Brother; Tony, adopted sons; Clancy Roberts, Fred and Bob Bennett, grandchildren; D.J., Cody, Grace Kelly, Lindsey, Skye Iron Road, Kade Iron Road, Zoey Wood, Dagon Wood, Great Grandchildren; Maize and Mika Two Bears and Nyal and Stoney Iron Road. Proceeding Albert’s death was Albert Two Bears Sr.-father; Laura Two Bears/Looking Horse-mother; sisters Alberta Condon, Irene Lawrence, Gloria Fischer, brothers; Chuck, Bernie, Basil (Ishta), brother-in-laws; Kenny, James (Buster) and Donnie McLaughlin, and many more relatives and ranch/rodeo friends.
