Gerald Loeb

July 29, 1958 — June 6, 2017

Gerald D. Loeb, 58, Bismarck, passed away June 6, 2017 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck.

Services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan with Deacon Steve Brannon officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan following the service. There will be a fellowship luncheon following the burial service at the Mandan Moose Club.

Gerald was born on July 29, 1958 in Elgin, ND to Peter and Kathryn (Winters) Loeb. He was raised and educated in Flasher, ND.

Gerald enjoyed playing drums, people loved it when he played "Wipeout", and Gerald loved to play spoons, yodel, listening to country music, gardening, tinkering and detailing cars. He loved to tell jokes and stories and had a great sense of humor.

Gerald will be deeply missed by two sons, Josh (Nykky Rehovsky) Loeb, Fargo, ND and Shawn Loeb, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Keiana and Ashton; three sisters, Yvonne Loeb and Janice Cady both of Mandan, ND and Gloria (Dennis) Olheiser, Beulah, ND; brother, James, Mandan, ND; 6 nephews, Dalton, Ryan, Preston, Ethan and Isaac Loeb and Andrew Keller; three nieces, Amber Roberson-Kitzman (Keller) (Cody Fritsch), Ashley (Jesse) Bauer (Keller) and Andrea (Kenneth) Morin (Keller); seven great-nieces, Kara Neuberger, Kylie Keller, Willow Roberson-Kitzman, Jemma Roberson-Kitzman, Emree Keller, Arion Bauer and Alyse Keller; one great-nephew, Brayden Keller; dear friends, Mike & Marlys (Glaser) Bowden, Bismarck, ND and special friend, Ruth Taylor.

Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents, Peter and Kathryn Loeb; one brother, Hugo Loeb and one nephew, Skylar Loeb.

Gerald's family would like to thank Weigel Funeral Home and all of his friends and family for their support and care throughout this time.
