Beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Sister passed away January 18, 2016. Louise was welcomed to heaven by her parents Ernest and Louisa Hägler, brother Ernest Hägler, infant son David and lifelong friend Maria. Louise will be missed by her husband of 56 years Jacob Eckroth; children Patrick (Lynne) Eckroth and Michael (Marjorie) Eckroth; sister Brigitta Anderegg-Hägler; brother Richard Hägler; granddaughter Jodie Boyd-Howry; great-grandchildren Mason & Eliza Howry; Carlo (Husband of Maria) and numerous loving relatives and friends.
Louise was born and raised in Solothurn, Switzerland. She was much loved by those who were fortunate to be part of her life. Louise was a beautiful person with a generous spirit and a wonderful Mother who raised her children with traditions, morals, and principles and taught them to be strong and independent.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
