Arnie was born on October 16, 1953 to Edwin and Cordella (Gustin)
Wingenbach in Bismarck ND. He was raised and educated in Mandan,
graduating from Mandan High School. He married the love of his life
Karen Hoffman on August 25, 1978 in Bismarck. They were married for
36 years and made great memories that will be cherished. They raised
four strong, beautiful daughters while living in Glasgow MT. This
ultimately led to him having four fantastic son in laws and ten wonderful
grandchildren. Arnie worked with the BNSF railroad for 35 years as
an Engineer. He will be remembered every time we hear that whistle blow.

Arnie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was really proud
of his family and would share stories of how great they are. One thing he
liked to say while raising his daughters is " If you don't know what a word
means, look it up!” He had a great sense of humor and would tell his friends
and family "I'm the fun one and don't hate me because I'm pretty!" Arnie had
a passion to live life to its fullest. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and
loved to camp at Fort Peck Lake. Arnie also liked to sing and dance to any
good song. He enjoyed taking his lovely wife Karen for a ride on their Harley.
While on the Harley he would speed and slide in, put the kickstand down and
say, "whooooo wheeee, what a ride". One thing he wanted to let everyone know,
was that he loved to have a good time with all of you that knew him.
This includes friends and family while growing up, to his neighbors that
are thought of as his family. You have all made his short life of 61
years a special one.

Arnie will be deeply missed by his wife Karen, Glasgow MT, daughters Stephanie
(Syed) Zaidi, Bismarck, Jennifer (Gabe) Staack, Syracuse NE, Lisa (Jason) Sides,
