Arline Benjamin, 97, Mandan, died October 15, 2014 at Sanford Continuing Care Center on Sunset in Mandan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Weigel Funeral Home Mandan, ND with .Chaplin Dan Sweeney officiating. Burial will be at Stanton City Cemetery, Stanton, ND following the funeral service. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday.
Arline was born on May 4, 1917 to Erick and Justena(Fredrickson) Berg in Stanton, ND. She was raised and educated in the Stanton area. Arline was a dedicated caregiver and mother she took care of her family including her elderly parents for many years before their deaths. She also found time to work outside the home as a cook at the Capital Cafeteria. In her spare time Arline enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Arline will be deeply missed by her sons, Eugene Miller, Kingman, AZ and David (Theony) Miller, Wahpeton, ND; 6 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Frank Miller and Art Benjamin; son, Gerald; 3 grandchildren and her siblings.
